It's time to let Major Search Engine like Google, Yahoo and Live to know your Blog. By installing this XML Sitemap Generator and submit the sitemap.xml file to Google. You'll pretty much get indexed in few days. Some Blogger likes to submit their URL to www.google.com/addurl. For me, I like Google Webmaster Tools - Sitemap better.

Now, Click here to Download Wordpress Sitemap Generator Plugin.

As usual, Download or save it to wherever you like. Unzipped it with your favourite unzip tools. Upload the full directory into your www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/

Step 1
Make your blog directory writable or create 2 files (sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz) and make them writable via CHMOD. In most cases, your blog directory is already Writable so you don't need to do anyting.

Step 2
Activate this Wordpress Sitemap XML Sitemap in the Plugin Options

Go to Option -> XML-Sitemap. Click on Rebuild sitemap.(make sure your directory folder is writable)

Step 4
Go to www.google.com/webmasters. Click on "Improve traffic with Google Webmaster Tools". Log in with your Gmail acccount.

Step 5
Type in your url on the address bar. Click on "Add Site", Then you'll see..

Step 6
Click on "verify you site". Choose a verification method you prefer. I normally choose upload an HTML file. So let's stick with creating an HTML file. After creating with your textpad, upload to your blog directory or root directory of your blog.
